These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Barakah Care Compass, LLC’s (“Company,” “we,” “our”) website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services

Barakah Care Compass, LLC provides non-clinical patient advocacy, education, and healthcare navigation services.

  • We do not diagnose, prescribe, or deliver medical treatment.

  • All healthcare decisions must be made in consultation with licensed medical providers.

2. Consultations

  • Complimentary consultations are offered to determine whether our services are an appropriate fit.

  • If you choose to proceed, a separate service agreement will outline the scope of services, fees, and expectations.

  • All fees are non-refundable once services have commenced.

3. Confidentiality & Compliance

We treat all information shared with strict confidentiality and in alignment with compliance standards.

  • HIPAA Compliance:

    • Barakah Care Compass, LLC operates as a HIPAA Business Associate.

    • Our founder, Dr. Zamra Amjid, DHSc, MHA, LSSGBH, has completed:

      • HIPAA Awareness for Business Associates (Valid September 2025 – September 2027)

      • HIPAA Security Training (Valid September 2025 – September 2027)

    • We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect personal health information and enter into Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) as applicable.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Healthcare):

    • Dr. Amjid also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in Healthcare, ensuring services are delivered with a focus on quality, efficiency, and patient-centered outcomes.

4. Out-of-State & International Clients

  • Our services are primarily designed for clients located in New Jersey.

  • Out-of-state or international clients engage our services at their own discretion and risk.

  • We are not responsible for compliance with laws or regulations outside of New Jersey.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Barakah Care Compass, LLC is not liable for any medical or health-related decisions you make based on our services, website content, or consultations.

  • Our services are provided “as is” and do not replace medical advice from licensed professionals.

6. Insurance Coverage

Barakah Care Compass, LLC maintains active General Liability and Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions) insurance, effective September 4, 2025, to safeguard our clients and partners.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of New Jersey.

  • Clients waive the right to initiate or threaten lawsuits in court, except where prohibited by law.

8. Non-Disparagement

  • Clients agree not to make false, misleading, or defamatory statements regarding Barakah Care Compass, LLC.

  • Honest feedback and legally required disclosures are permitted.

9. Updates

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
