These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Barakah Care Compass, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our”) website and any informational services we provide. By accessing this website, contacting us, or using our materials, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Barakah Care Compass, LLC provides non-clinical, non-medical services, including patient education, healthcare navigation support, and general advocacy guidance.

We do not:

  • Diagnose or treat medical conditions

  • Prescribe medications

  • Provide clinical advice

  • Replace licensed medical professionals

All health-related decisions must be made with a licensed healthcare provider.

2. Consultations

  • Any calls, emails, or messages with Barakah Care Compass, LLC are for informational and educational purposes only.

    If formal paid services resume in the future, they will require a separate written Service Agreement outlining:

    • Scope of work

    • Fees

    • Expectations

    • Responsibilities of both parties

    Until such an agreement is signed, no client–provider relationship exists.

3. Privacy & Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of individuals who contact us. Information voluntarily shared with us is treated with discretion.

However:

  • Barakah Care Compass, LLC is not a HIPAA Covered Entity.

  • Communications through email or the website may not be encrypted or HIPAA-compliant.

  • Please avoid submitting sensitive personal health information through unsecured channels.

Dr. Zamra Amjid has completed HIPAA Awareness and Security training; however, training does not imply HIPAA liability or covered entity status.

4. Out-of-State & International Visitors

  • Our content and services are intended primarily for New Jersey residents.

  • Visitors outside New Jersey view and use our materials at their own discretion.

  • We are not responsible for compliance with healthcare laws or regulations outside the State of New Jersey.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Barakah Care Compass, LLC is not responsible for any actions, decisions, or outcomes resulting from:

    • Information on this website

    • Consultations or communications

    • Recommendations, guides, or resources

    All content is provided “as is” for informational purposes only.

    We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages that result from your use of our content or services.

6. No Guarantee of Outcomes

  • We do not guarantee results or outcomes related to healthcare navigation, communication with providers, insurance processes, or care planning.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your use of our website or services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of New Jersey.
You waive the right to litigation in court, except where prohibited by law.

8. Non-Disparagement

Users agree not to publish or share false, defamatory, or intentionally misleading statements about Barakah Care Compass, LLC.
Honest reviews and legally required disclosures are allowed.
